He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Day and Martha Day (Harris); his wife Barbara Day (Dillon); his grandson Timothy Taylor; and his brother Bill Day.
He is survived by: his children, James "Cowboy" Day of Loogootee, IN, Brenda Hardwick of Loogootee, IN, Bobby Day (Cindy) of Loogootee, IN and Danny Day of Loogootee, IN; his grandchildren, Mary Ellen, Jamie, Nicki, Dylan, Mike, Mark, Jonathan, Daniel and Molly; and his siblings, Carolyn Colglazier of Loogootee, IN and Chuck Day of Loogootee, IN. He is also survived by 19 Great- Grandchildren, 2 Great -Great Grandchildren.
