It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Helen Lois Sheetz (Loogootee, Indiana), born in Washington, Indiana, who passed away on July 7, 2018, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her spouse Gilbert Sheetz; and her siblings, Henry Ferguson, James Ferguson, Sam Ferguson, Tom Ferguson, Robert Ferguson, Marcella King and Lucy Gough.
She is survived by: her daughters, Catherine Yvonne Summers (Joe) of Loogootee and Roxie Kay Hunt (Bill) of Loogootee; her grandchildren, Kevin Hunt (Cathy) of Rantoul, Kelly Hunt (Dana) of Buffalo, Larry Summers of Loogootee and Terri Nicholson (David) of Aurora; her sister Nora Tate of Bloomington; her sister-in-law Barbara Ferguson of Greenwood; her great grandchildren, Donald Nicholson (Ashley), Katherine Bass (Zach), Stephanie Hunt, Abigail Hunt, Sarah Jones (Brandon), Allyson Hunt, Aubrielle Hunt and Brian Hunt; and her great great grandchildren, Gavin Bass, Mila Jones, Noah Nicholson and Luke Nicholson. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.
