We are sad to announce that on November 19, 2021, at the age of 97, Harry G. Ellis of Loogootee, Indiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Asa Ellis and Mary B. Ellis (Halbert); his wife Edith Ellis (Meehan); his siblings, Dorothy Spears, Mary Keller, Jim Ellis, Margaret Wagoner, Ann Cunningham and Charlie Ellis; and his son-in-law Denny Ash.
He is survived by: his children, Barb Ash of Loogootee, Keith Ellis (Darlene) of Loogootee and Karen Jones (Robert) of Loogootee; his grandchildren, Becky Gates (Tom), Ashley Arvin (Corey), Derek Ellis, Chad Jones and Kim Jones; his great grandchildren, Addy, Landon Gates, Maxwell and Luke Arvin; his siblings, Bill Ellis of Loogootee, Raymond Ellis of Loogootee and Ruth Strange of Bloomington; and his close friend Linda Schnarr of Washington.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be to St. John Catholic Cemetery Fund.
