He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin Thomas and Evelyn Thomas (Rice); and his sister Patricia Ellen Thomas. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Thomas (Johnson-McPherson); his stepchildren, Twila Coldiron (Jeff Wildman), Jimmy McPherson (Barb Spurgeon), Weldon McPherson (Tara), John McPherson (Marilyn) and Bonnie Hupp (Eddie Diamond); and his siblings, Margaret Printice (Max), Ray Littlefield (Debbie), Rex Thomas (Julie) and Garold Thomas (Betty). He is also survived by twelve grandchildren; twenty-one great-grandchildren.
