We are sad to announce that on June 24, 2021, at the age of 78, Georgia Ann Ackerman of Loogootee, Indiana, born in Indianapolis, Indiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, George Carrico and Winifred Carrico (Fettic); and her sister Beverly Vaughan (Bill). She is survived by: her husband Albert T. "Skip" Ackerman of Loogootee; her sons, Eric Ackerman (Susan) of Loogootee, Dirk Ackerman (Lisa) of Elletsville, Cameron Ackerman of Loogootee and Brant Ackerman (Renee) of Washington; her grandchildren, Jill Wininger (Michael), Bryant Ackerman (Brittany), Abby Ackerman (Luke Harmon), Nicholas Ackerman, Brooke Mackey (Jeff), Taylor Abram (Amie), Mikaela Norton (Reed), Maura Brown (Brian), Noah, Azeria and Analiese Ackerman; her nephew Brent Vaughan (Carrie); her niece Cara Vaughan (Russ Kaufman); and her sister-in-law Ann Ackerman. She is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren.
