She was predeceased by: her parents, Everett DeVault and Helen DeVault (Patterson); and her siblings, Charles DeVault, Louis DeVault and Mary Margaret Allen.
She is survived by: her children, Helen Acton (Jim) of Loogootee, Mary Charlene Burr of Odon, Sue Waggoner (William) of Shoals and Charles "Chuck" Wessell (Trudy) of Washington; and her sister Lorraine DeVault. She is also survived by 10 Grandchildren, 16 Great Grandchildren, 4 Great – Great Grandchildren, and her friendly dog and companion.
In Lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church for Masses.
