Dwayne G. Walton Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dwayne G. Walton of Loogootee, Indiana, who passed away on February 14, 2022 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Alpha Walton and Jenny Walton (Wildman); his daughter Jewel Lynn "Julie" Walton; his siblings, Alpha Jr. Walton (Pauline), Loren Walton, Dymple Ledgerwood (Arnold) and Laverne Cooley (George); and also Dick Gaither.
He is survived by: his wife Janet Walton of Loogootee; his sons, John Walton (Lorie) of Loogootee and Tom Walton of Shoals; his granddaughter Vanessa Stovall (Andrew); his stepgrandsons, Cody McConnell (Natasha) and Garrett McConnell (Shelbi); and his sister-in-law Margie Walton of Loogootee. He is also survived by 6 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
