With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Donald E. Divine of Loogootee, Indiana, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Donald left this world on January 18, 2025 at the age of 91, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Donald leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ronald A. "Gus" Divine and Nellie Divine (Ledgerwood). He is survived by: his wife Janice (Sanders); and his children, Lora, Dale, Wanda, John, Brenda and Ronnie. He is also survived by 32 Grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service was held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the South Martin Cemetery. A celebration of life was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Whitfield Community Building.
