It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Grant Qualkenbush of Loogootee, Indiana, born in French Lick, Indiana, who passed away on March 1, 2021, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Grant "Fuzz" and Martha Patsy Qualkenbush (Morgan); his daughter Vickey Lynn Qualkenbush; and his brother Dennis Qualkenbush. He is survived by: his wife Vicki Qualkenbush (Padgett); his children, David H. Qualkenbush of Shoals, Ame Qualkenbush (Jeremy Schneider) of Loogootee, Kasey Becher (Chris) of Ferdinand, Kelly VanMeter (Corey) of Loogootee and Emily Ferraro (Tony) of Tell City; his grandchildren, Chasity Lee, David A. Qualkenbush, Madison Mann, Andrew Zins, Helen, Carter, Cecelia Becher, Hannah, Bailee VanMeter, Lathen Letterman, Ollie Wendholt, Charlotte Kollmeyer, Chase and Grace Ferraro; his siblings, Paula Mills of Bloomington, Marcy Holland of French Lick, Manya Carnes (Kevin) of French Lick, Odis Qualkenbush (Debbie) of Louisville, Regina Handford (Glen) of Winnipeg and Manitoba; and his sister-in-law Carol Singlestad of French Lick. He is also survived by 2 great-grandchildren.
