He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene Fields and Goldie May Fox (Dillion); his wife Anna Laura Fields (Kaiser); his daughter Charlotte Russell; his siblings, Eddie Fields (Betty), Jackie Fields (Joyce), Rosie Fields and Laura Wathen (Bob); and his daughter-in-law Debbie Fields.
He is survived by: his children, Jim Fields of Loogootee and Carol Jones (Jason) of Loogootee; his grandchildren, Ryan Fields, Kyle Russell, Beau Russell, Amanda Oakman, Sarah Troutman and Travis Troutman; his great grandchildren, Darion, Dalton, Jade and Kaden; his brother Delbert Fields of Alabama; and his son-in-law Wayne Russell of Loogootee. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be St. Mary Cemetery Fund.
