He was predeceased by: his mother Irene Eva Brown (Mauder); his wife Barbara Jean Emmons; his father Simon C. Brown; his siblings, Vernelta Lingenfelter, Wilma Collins, Minnie L. Brown and Edward C. Brown; and his daughter-in-law Darlene Brown.
He is survived by: his children, Diana Fegan (John) of Loogootee, Charles C. Brown of Washington, Becky Bauer (Rick) of Loogootee, Peggy Mattingly (Gerry) of Loogootee and Clifford Brown (Vicki) of Loogootee; and his sister Norma Ziegler. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 5 step-grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
Social distancing and masks are required by all in attendance.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Truelove Methodist Church.
