She was predeceased by: her parents, William "Andy" Combess and Dorothy E. Combess (Carrico); her husband Gary G. Norris; her brothers, Bill Combess and Denny Combess; and her siblings-in-law, Janet Combess and Paul J. Wittmer.
She is survived by: her daughter Dina Ferguson of Burns City, IN; her siblings, Scott Combess (Darleen) of Burns City, IN, Mary Muessig (Mike) of Loogootee, IN, Kathy Wittmer of Loogootee, IN and Amy Emery (Brian) of Montgomery, OH; and her sister-in-law Millie Combess of Burns City, IN. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the American Heart Association in memory of Carolyn Jane Norris.
