It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Robert Jones of Logansport, Indiana, who passed away on February 26, 2022, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William R. "Bill" Jones and Mary Jones (Baker); and his brother Larry "Butch" Jones. He is survived by: his wife Peggy Jones (Day); his children, Deb Mathison (Steve), Palm and Jeff Jones (Scott Jones); his grandchildren, Jessica Jones and Ian Mathison; his stepgrandson Cody Koedam; his great grandchild Mayson Jones; his siblings-in-law, Judy Jones and Ronnie Day (Joey); and his nieces and nephews, Lori Jones Fowler (Chris Fowler), Hayley Sauer (Steve Sauer), Matt Jones (Emily Graham), Angie Day and Brett Day.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Cass County Humane Society.

I still remember knocking on the back door and seeing Bob walk into the kitchen from the living room with the newspaper in his hand. He looked at me and asked 'Why do you knock?, You know Jeff is either in the basement or his room, so just come on in.'.
