He is survived by: his wife Connie Scales (Brown); his children, Kim Conklin (Mike), Billy Scales (Darcy Pirie) and Melissa Scales (Bridget Wicklander); his grandchildren, John Scales-Conklin (Taylor Scott), William Scales-Conklin (Amanda) and Kaylee Scales-Conklin; his stepgrandchildren, Lelani, Brandi and Mitchell; and his great grandchildren, Knox, Mac and Noah. He is also survived by nephews and 4 nieces.
