He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar "Fred" Cowger and Grace Tempelton Cowger (Clark); and his sons, Keith Cowger, Leon "Buddy" Cowger, Bill Cowger, Terry Cowger and Michael Cowger.
He is survived by: his wife Donna Cowger of Rochester, Indiana.. He is also survived by 30 Grandchildren and Numerous Great Grandchildren and Great-Great Grandchildren.
