He was predeceased by: his parents, George DeWitt and Hazel DeWitt (Crail); and his siblings, Stanley DeWitt, Donald DeWitt, Raymond DeWitt, Charles "Mickey" DeWitt, Betty Reynolds and Donnabelle Pugh.
He is survived by: his siblings-in-law, Don Pugh of Logansport and Bobbie DeWitt of Monticello. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
