He was predeceased by: his parent Carl Richard; his brothers, Dean and Walter; and his grandson Edward Gene. He is survived by: his parent Katherin "Katie" Gebhardt (Braunstadter); his spouse Betty Gebhardt (Burton); his sons, Wally (Laurie) of Logansport, Steve (Karla) of Logansport and Calvin (Toni) of Logansport; his grandchildren, Wally (Amanda), Aaron (Lindsay), Kim (Jimmy), Kyle (Brooke), Chad (Charmie), Scott (Alicia), Cameron and Jessi; and his great grandchildren, Izzy, Branston, Christopher, Lyla, Eli, Brielle, Jailynn, Daisy and Josie.
