He was predeceased by: his parents, Elias E. "Bill" and Vernie May Carney (Angle); and his sister JoAnne Bishop. He is survived by: his wife Carol Diann Carney (Young); his children, Crista Cruz (John), Annette Hancock (Mike) and Jason Carney (Jessica); his sister Judy Carney; his grandchildren, Lucy, Madeline, Elizabeth, Ruby, Abigail and Andrew; and his niece Janet Ashabranner.
