We are sad to announce that on November 18, 2024, at the age of 88, Shelby J. Ridenour of Logansport, Indiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Shelby departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Shelby. Though Shelby may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilmer H. Burrous and Mary Alice Burrous (Helvie); her husband James H. Ridenour; and her son Steven H. Ridenour. She is survived by: her son Scott Ridenour (Brenda) of Boerne, Texas; her sisters, Melody Shaffer of Concord and Joetta Burrous of Warsaw, Indiana; and her grandchildren, Lauren Reid (Chad) of Boerne, Texas, Evan Ridenour of Virginia Beach, Virginia, Kyle Ridenour of Laramie, Wyoming and Logan Ridenour of Orlando, Florida..
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 4th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Gundrum Funeral Home (1603 E Broadway St, Logansport, IN 46947). A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, December 4th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the same location.
