He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Mendenhall and Alice Mendenhall (Green); his daughter Kelly Mendenhall-Franklin; and his brothers, Norman Mendenhall and Col. Harry Mendenhall.
He is survived by: his wife Helen Jean Sterrett of Logansport; his son Kevin Mendenhall of Alabama; his grandchildren, Jason Gordon of Florida, Evan Gordon of Logansport and Monica Mendenhall-Northcutt of Alabama; and his great grandchildren, Xaviar, Jaxon Gordon of Logansport and Finn Gordon of Florida.
