He was predeceased by: his parent Robert Scott Justice; his spouse Laurie Jane Dingle; his parent Pollard-Nelson House; and his brother Thomas Jonathan Justice. He is survived by: his children, Rebecca Justice Lazarus of San Francisco, California, Jessica Catherine Justice of Oakland and Robert Dingle Justice of Clinton Township; his sister Margaret; his grandchildren, Madeline Jane Lazarus of San Francisco, Robert Conner Justice of Clinton Township and Margaret Justice Dean of Salida, Colorado; and his children, Samuel Charles Justice of Portland, Oregon, Elizabeth Anne Justice of Crawfordsville, Indiana and Amy Caroline Justice of New Haven, Connecticut..

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Logansport-Cass County Library or the Cass County Historical Society in his name.
