He was predeceased by: his parents, Roger M. Essi and Madeline F. Essi (Dietels); his grandson Christopher Lopez; and his brother Ronald Essi. He is survived by: his children, Richard P. Essi of Omaha, Rachelle Steele (Carl) of Logansport, Rochaun Lopez (Tony) of Oakley and Reese M. Essi of Fresno, California; and his brother Roger Essi (Martha) of Fayetteville. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren.
