Oris McGuire Jr. Obituary

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Oris McGuire Jr. of Logansport, Indiana, who passed away on December 30, 2020, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parent Oris Sr.. He is survived by: his children, Derek McGuire (Diana) and Lori VanDuyne (Brian); his grandchildren, Zachary McGuire (Sarah), Jordan McGuire, Kendall Gundrum (Nate), Chase Van Duyne and Noah Van Duyne; his great grandchild Ezekiel McGuire; his stepgreat-grandson Hayden; and his sister-in-law Reba McClure (Rick).

Oris had beat the Covid-19 virus but the toll it took on his body - having fought valiantly since the first of December - made each breath difficult.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Gary Sinise Foundation's "Combat Covid" campaign to provide PPE's for those frontline workers.
