He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond E. DeFord and Eva DeFord (Landes); his wife Anita DeFord; and his brother Lawrence Leroy DeFord. He is survived by: his children, Charles DeFord (Debra) of Logansport, John DeFord of Logansport, Dennis DeFord (Melanie) of Monrovia, IN, Cathy DeFord of Logansport and Linda Delp of Logansport; and his siblings, Jerry DeFord (Felicia), Francis DeFord (Mary) of Delphi, Randy DeFord of Royal Center and Phyllis Showley (Joe) of Logansport. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, several great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
