He was predeceased by: his parent William Powell. He is survived by: his parent Lena Powell (Brandenburg); his spouse Ione Garrison; his children, Jane Ellen Long, Sue Ann Lewis (William) and Kenneth Lee Powell (Karen) of Minnetonka, MN; and his great grandchild Brandon Lewis. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Alzheimer's Association.
