He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Maxwell and Bonita Maxwell (DeFord); his son Samuel Clem; and his brother David Maxwell. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Maxwell (Dunn); his children, Tammy Williams (John), Sherry Maxwell, Brian DeFord (Kathie) of Oak Ridge, NC, Kimberly Dart (Bruce) of Logansport and Karla Baer (Kenny) of Logansport; his siblings, Terry Maxwell (Donna) and Debb DeFord (Chuck); and his grandchildren, Maxx DeFord, Seth Maxwell, Amy Titus, Sarah Vaughan, TJ DeWitt (Schlene), Mykel Vaughan, Adam Dart and Matthew Dart.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the Revolution Community Church.
