He was predeceased by: his parents, John Henry and Helen Louise Harper (Ross); his children, William J. Harper and Brenda E. Harper; and his brother Donald Harper.
He is survived by: his spouse Louanna Harper (Lantz); his children, Laura Kruger (Roy) and Rod Harper (Kathy) of Kokomo; his sisters, Martha Lou Smith and Ruth Ann Sterns; and his grandchildren, Scott Harper, Brad Harper, Eric Harper, Holley Zimmerman and John Newton.
