He was predeceased by: his parents, Darl W. Stilwell and Avenell M. Stilwell (Cunningham); his wife Barbara Ann Stilwell (Ross); his siblings, Donna "Nadine" Swartz Smith, Jack Stilwell (Margie), Richard Stilwell and Vyllis Bennett (Lyle); and also, Clarence O., Doris E. Ross (Porter), Mike, Linda Ross, Harold Berkshire, Clare Swartz and Junior Smith.

He is survived by: his children, Jeffrey Stilwell (Sean), Lori Santangelo (Mark), Heather Scott (John) and Rachel Stephens (Jason); his grandchildren, Kari Santangelo, Wes, Luke Stephens, Calryan, Cheyenne Parmeter and Miley Scott; his siblings, Bill Stilwell (Linda), Kenny Stilwell (Cathy), Mary Jayne Eisert (Bernie) and Jeanine Berkshire; and his sisters-in-law, Diane Robison (Richard "Dick") and Kathleen Ross. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and the Arbor Day Foundation.
