He is survived by: his parents, Howard Cox and Sandra Carman Cox; his wife Linda Collins; his son Shawn Cox; his stepsons, Cory Collins (Shelby), Joshua Collins (Tonya) and Kevin Collins; his daughter Haley Cox; his siblings, Tim Cox, Dan Cox (Carrie) and Maria Cripe (Brian); his grandchildren, Jarod Cox and Dixie Cox; and his stepgrandchildren, Bailey Collins, Kendyl Collins and Addyson Collins.
