He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Smith and Patricia A. Smith (Downham); his brother Thomas L. Smith; and his close friends, Jolene and Ruthie.
He is survived by: his brother Robert L. Smith (Bunti); his nieces, Amber Grandstaff (Travis) and Leanna Boyer; his great-nieces, Jayden, Berkley Grandstaff, Baylee and Madison Boyer; his great-nephew Noah Grandstaff; and his close friend Karen Hylton. He is also survived by several loving aunts, uncles and cousins.
