He was predeceased by: his parents, Mac Strasser and Marjorie Strasser (Brewer); and his brother Ron Strasser. He is survived by: his sisters, Carmen Guy (Strasser), Susan (Strasser) and Lindsey (Frank) of Evansville; his aunt Carole Rogers of Logansport; and his uncle Keith Brewer (Carol) of Noblesville. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
