He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Sims and Mattea Sims. He is survived by: his wife Sharon Sims (Williams); his children, Dion, Shaun, Jonathan and Andrea Sims (Angel); and his grandchildren, Lucas Sims, Michelle Grauel, Aleyah Sims and Tianna Sims.
In lieu of flowers, those wishing to honor Gary's memory may do so, if they desire, by making a donation to the Cross at the Crossroads Church; the Ronald McDonald House in Indianapolis; or to the Emmaus Mission Center in Logansport.
