He was predeceased by: his parents, Jacob Es and Frances Van Es (Fuller); his spouse Shirley Van Es; his grandson James Antrim; his great grandchild Abram Rivera; and his siblings, John, Jim, Adrian Van Es, Barb Porpe and Claire Dinges.
He is survived by: his children, Chuck Van Es (Cath) of Logansport, Rich Van Es (Lisa) of Logansport, Tom Van Es (Mandy) of Logansport, Eli Van Es (Lisa) of Logansport and Frances Antrim (Shane) of Logansport; his sister Neltja Rawson; his grandchildren, Stormie Rivera (Miguel), Kyle Van Es (Breanna) and Claire Van Es; and his great grandchildren, Alexia, Kaden, Edison, Roman, Allen and Callan. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Parkinson's Foundation which helps people with Parkinson's disease by improving care and advancing research toward a cure.
