He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Jack Luxenberg and Sylvia Luxenberg (Tumbler); his wife Evelyn M. Luxenberg; his children, Robin Petkovich (Jim) of Greenwood, Amy Christensen (Bill) of Logansport, Jeffrey Luxenberg (Sarah) of Logansport and Michael Luxenberg of Leander, TX; his grandchildren, Joey and Madison Christensen; his sons, Hunter, Austin Petkovich and Grayson Long; his sister Joy Goldenberg of Stoughton, MA.; and his child Dr. Luxenberg.
