It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Donald D. Shelhart Jr. of Logansport, Indiana, who passed away on July 12, 2022, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Don Sr. Shelhart and Ethel Shelhart (Good); and his sisters, Patsy Haselby and Carolyn Winters. He is survived by: his wife Frances; his children, Jeff Shelhart (Colleen) of Hickory, N. C. and Susan Cahalan (Tim) of Logansport; his grandchildren, Scott Shelhart (Sue) of Claypool, Brad Shelhart (Tabitha) of Silver Lake, Sarah Cahalan of Chicago and Laura Cahalan (Alex Berko) of Cleveland; and his stepgrandchildren, Christy Cook (Ben) of Washington, D. C., Hillary Colt of Rochester and Tyler Colt (Kelly) of Warsaw, Ind.. He is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren.
