With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Derek Scott Jackson (Logansport, Indiana), who passed away on October 12, 2020 at the age of 23. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Shafter and Ollie Jackson; his siblings, Tyler Edwards and Crystal McDaniel; and his niece Skylar Grey Jackson.

He is survived by: his parents, Scott Jackson and Michelle Jackson (Young); his grandparents, Larry and Ruth Young of Walton; his siblings, Alexander Jackson (Mackenzi McClory), Olivia Jackson, Brittany Edwards, Victoria, Sean and Devon Singleton; his aunts and uncles, Tricia Harris (Brett), Kelly Young (Bryan), Butch Young (Kelly) and Ben Jackson; his nephews, Colton and Jaxon; and his niece Emerianna Singleton.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention.
