With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Cynthia Lou Cox Gentry of Logansport, Indiana, born in Marion, Indiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 11, 2024 at the age of 95. She was predeceased by: her parents, Miles Rinehart and Lena Rinehart; her former husband Melvin D. Cox; and her husband Donald P. Gentry. She is survived by: her children, Douglas Cox (Deborah) and Mel Ann Lerner (John) of Bethalto, IL; her grandchildren, Christopher Lerner (Jaqueline), JoAnn Siesennop (Micah), Katherine Dahman (Devin) and Dr. Susannah Cox; and her great grandchildren, Ethan, Jonathan (Lerner), Annabelle, Wesley, Paige (Siesennop), Alister, Miles, Eleanor and Vivian (Dahman). She is also survived by her family, especially her grandchildren and great- grandchildren.
