He was predeceased by: his parents, John Russell (Butch) and Florence I. Luey (Burton); his close friend Donna Sallee; and his children-in-law, Sharon Luey and Larry Williamson.
He is survived by: his children, Rex Luey (Theresa) of Huntington, IN, Deb Williamson (Bruce Kindem) of Logansport, IN, Michele Downey (Steve) of Monticello, IN, Anita Tribby (Ed) of Royal Center, IN, Kim Gates (Charlie) of Royal Center, IN and Sandi Loepker (Pete) of Tifton, GA; and his brother Francis Luey (Reta Gilbert). He is also survived by several great grandchildren.
