She was predeceased by: her parents, Kenneth Smith and Carmen Smith (Graves); her daughter Sandra Heckard; and her brother Stanley Smith. She is survived by: her husband Kenneth E. Deitrich; her children, Duane Deitrich (Theresa) of Logansport and Beth Flagg of New Haven, IN; her son-in-law John Heckard of Logansport; and her grandchildren, Brooklynn Nicoson (Matt), Zachary Deitrich (Marisa), Baleigh Salvino (Ryan), Erika Lynn VanWhye (Paul), Kyle DuBois, Jessica Crill (Jon), Matthew Heckard (Jessica) and Kimberly Pursch (Jeff).
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 26th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Gundrum Funeral Home (1603 E Broadway St, Logansport, IN 46947). A celebration of life was held on Sunday, January 26th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
Memorials may be made to the Shriner's Hospital for Children, or the Clymer's Volunteer Fire Department.
