He was predeceased by: his parents, Byrd Richardson, and Nancy Richardson, Sr. (Hart); his sons, Steven and Jeffrey Richardson; his siblings, William, Dover Richardson and Luna; and his sons-in-law, David Cowell and Troy Vibbert.
He is survived by: his wife Carol Flora; his children, Timothy Richardson (Galina), Rhonda Cowell, Karen Francis (Bob), Patricia Vibbert and Charisse Robertson (Chris); his sister Kathryn Mills; and his daughters-in-law, Leslie and Carla Richardson. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren; 33 great grandchildren; and 11 great-great grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made in Byrd's Honor to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
