She was predeceased by: her parents, A. A. Hellyer and Helen Beatrice Hellyer; her husband Roger Andrew James; her son Richard Allen O'Dell; and her siblings, John, Bud, Dave, Regina "Sis", Dolly and Kathy.
She is survived by: her son Roger Lee James; her granddaughters, Melissa, Justina, Elizabeth and Jessica; and her sisters, Becky Hellyer, Karen Douglas, Eva Bowen and Jody Clark. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
