She was predeceased by: her parents, Edgar Johnson and Kitty Johnson (McClinton); her husband Garry D. Hayes; her son Stephen Army; her son-in-law Lee Shackelford; and her brothers, Artie Johnson, Dick Johnson and Bob Johnson.
She is survived by: her children, Dennis W. Karen Sue, Kay Lucy (Gordon) and Tammy Shackelford. She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
