He was predeceased by: his parents, Nicholas Puzzella and Esterina Puzzella (Passerini); his wife Betty Lou Patterson; and his siblings, John Puzzella, Ed Bisacchi, Yato Bisacchi, Marie Walters and Olga Guerra.

He is survived by: his sons, Edward Puzzella (Roxanne) of Weldon Springs, Gary Puzzella (Tammy) of Logansport and John Puzzella (Lexy) of Fishers; his brother Jim Puzzella of Logansport; his grandchildren, Nick Puzzella (Beth), Kristen Rohlfing (Chris), Matthew Puzzella Chris Murray (Erin), Jennifer Walker, Nicolle Puzzella, Katy Puzzella, Gabby Puzzella and Grace Puzzella; and his great grandchildren, Kate Lovett, Tessa Puzzella, Dominic Puzzella, Kaia Murray, Emalynn Murray, Isabella Walker, Isaiah Walker, Hattie Walker, Luca Puzzella, Camila Puzzella, Benjamin Rohlfing, Deason Murray and Mia Puzzella.
