She was predeceased by: her parents, Edwin Hughes and Martha Hughes (Morris); her husband Richard Sims (Dick); and her brother Morris Hughes. She is survived by: her children, Debra Pitkin (Jack) of Chattanooga, TN, Sherry Hendricks (Ken) of Grand Rapids, MI and Stephen Sims (Heide) of Logansport; her grandchildren, Caleb Pitkin (Samantha) of Knoxville, TN, Matthew Hendricks, Lisa Foote (Brandon) of Grand Rapids, MI, Kristen Smith (J. D.) of Carmel, IN and Rachel Forman (David) of Naperville, IL; her great grandchildren, Lazarus Pitkin, Jules Smith, Abigail and Gracelyn Foote; and her sister-in-law Ginevra Williams of North Port, Florida.
