It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Allen Hobart Hanawalt of Logansport, Indiana, who passed away on November 24, 2023, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell L. Hanawalt and Hannah May Hanawalt (Roller); his wife Carol Joan (Siferd); and his brothers, Russell Charles Hanawalt, Jason Hanawalt and Eugene Hanawalt.
He is survived by: his children, Beth Ann Hanawalt of Durham, NC and Christian Hanawalt of North Manchester, IN; his granddaughter Emily Hanawalt; his sisters, Kathleen Ritter of Fishers, IN and Nancy Logan of Royal Center, IN; and his sisters-in-law, Bonnie Hanawalt of Winamac, IN and Sonja Hanawalt of Logansport, IN. He is also survived by 3 nieces and 3 nephews.
