He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Hathaway and Ethel Hathaway (Tomlin); his daughter Sarah Howald; and his sister Shirley Hathaway. He is survived by: his wife Linda Hathaway; his sons, Mike Minor, John Minor, Richard Hathaway, Jr., Kenneth Howald and Jeremy Howald (Amanda); and his grandchildren, Brittany Rakes, JJ Howald (Olivia), Tristan Rakes (Tessa), Gavin Boyd, Garrett Boyd, Griffin Boyd, Peyton Howald, Braden Howald, Grant Boyd, Zakai Hathaway and Alayna Hathaway. He is also survived by 7 great grandchildren.
In liew of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
