He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Thompson and Hazel Thompson; his parents-in-law, Lester and Lillie Wilson; and his grandsons, Noah Thompson, Chet Thompson and Chad Thompson.
He is survived by: his wife Clara Maude Wilson (Purdue); his children, Jeff (Michelle), Bert, Kent (Beverly), Todd Thompson (Patti) and Lori Sheffer (Rick); his grandchildren, Keith, Tylan, Matthew, Jordan, Cara, Caleb, Isaac, Quinton, Marissa, Abe, Lydia, Josiah and Anna; his sister Judy Parent (Rick); his brother-in-law Harve Wilson (Dixie); and his caregiver Deedee Orazine. He is also survived by 10 great grandchildren.
