With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Marzella Johnson of Lizton, Indiana, born in Johnetta, Kentucky, who passed away on November 26, 2022 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Luther and Emily Ethel Hale (Griffie); her husband Leonard Lester Johnson; her siblings, Marshall Hale, Robert Hale, Raynel Hale, Martha Parkhurst and Juanita Miller; her stepdaughters, Jeannie Blacker and Cindy Johnson (Terry); her siblings-in-law, Jessie Miller, Raymon Miller, Steve Kouns and Dee Hale; her son-in-law Jeff Eads; and her pet Dusty Jo.

She is survived by: her children, Leisha A. Christen (John) of Ocala and Ronald W. Johnson (Leeann) of Lebanon; her stepchildren, Mickey Lester of Lizton and Larry Johnson of Texas; her grandchildren, Jacob D. Eads, Jamie C. Eads, Ashley C. Johnson and Lindsey W. Johnson; her stepgrandchildren, Collin Trent and Sadie Trent; and her sisters, Marjorie Miller of Richmond and Norma Kouns of Lebanon. She is also survived by fourteen great grandchildren.
