She was predeceased by: her parents, Marcos Garcia and Rose Garcia (Aki); and her husband Norman E. Banister. She is survived by: her children, Joan Graff (Carlos) of Indianapolis, Judy Vaughn (Bryan) of Linton, Cindy Hiett (Chuck) of Missouri, Norman M. D. Banister (Gerrie) of Indianapolis and Glenn Banister (Ashley) of Bloomington. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
