He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Smock and Thelma McCracken (Sheets); his granddaughter Ashley Allen; and his siblings, Marcia Lawson, Patricia Rydenbark, Bud McCracken, Ivan Smock and Sonny Smock.
He is survived by: his children, Cathie Allen (Randy) of Worthington and Ralph William "Willie" Smock (Mary) of Texas; and his grandchildren, Rochelle Boyd (Kyle), Levi Allen (Melissa), Amber Sirignano (Matt) and John Smock. He is also survived by seven great grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews.
